HOW LONG SHOULD I KEEP MY TAX RECORDS FOR?

Tax records of the prior five years should be kept in case of an IRS audit.

Fees vary based on the type of return. The price is determined by how much time was spent doing the return and how many resources were needed to get the return done.

WHAT ARE SOME IMPORTANT DEADLINES FOR TAX SEASON?

January 31 - Deadline for employers to mail out W-2's

April 15 - Deadline to file a 2020 tax return

October 15 - Deadline to file extension tax return

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEVER RECEIVED THE STIMULUS PAYMENTS?

When you come to file your 2020 tax return, you will want to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit. This is also true for those that were not eligible for the payments based on their 2019 tax return but are now eligible under their 2020 tax return.

 

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO BRING WHEN I FILE MY TAXES?

  • Identification Card

  • Social Security Cards (taxpayer, spouse, and dependents)

  • W-2's/1099's

  • Notice 1444 and 1444B (stimulus payment notices)

  • Loan Tax Forms

  • Insurance Tax Forms

  • As well as any other tax forms you received in the mail or online.
